For the first time two Nurse Specialists were part of the advisory board for the update of ENETs guidelines and standards of care. A very exciting opportunity for our voices to be heard and our expertise involved at this level.
The continued development of the Nurse programme for ENETs is an essential role of the steering committee as we continue to advocate nurse led research.
Future plans for the ENETs conference include – “Meet the Nurse Sessions” alongside “Meet the Professor Sessions” to increase the opportunity for us to share ideas and knowledge.
The ENETs Nurse group also can help support nurses throughout Europe, please email us if you have any questions or ideas for future projects: [email protected]
The UKINETs programme for the Conference on 5th December 2016 is now being developed, we are an essential part of this. Please can any nurses taking part in research or who are completing their Masters projects/nurse led research please email me so we can develop a strong Nurse component to the conference. As nurses we play a vital role in the care of NET patients and it is essential that we continue to meet, share ideas and take an proactive role in research projects.
