NETs for Newcomers 2019 is now open for registration. It is a national course under the aegis of UK & Ireland NET Society (UKINETS) and is accredited by the RCP for CPD.
It is a one-day course for trainee doctors and consultants in all disciplines wishing to gain confidence in the diagnosis, investigation and management of patients with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), including gastroenteropancreatic NETs, in a multidisciplinary setting.
The course is being delivered by an expert multidisciplinary faculty and there is ‘mock MDT’ practice in small groups. Its first two years received excellent feedback and this year it will be held in in London on Tuesday 17th September, at the Royal Free Hospital.
Registration is highly subsidised so the fee to attend is very low and the more different disciplines involved (gastroenterology, oncology, surgery, endocrinology, etc.) the better the discussions. Please do pass this on to any trainees or other interested colleagues in your specialty or local or regional networks as they would be welcome to register to attend.
More information is available on the registration website…
