The biennial Birmingham NET symposium took place on Wednesday 29th January 2018. It was attended by delegates from the Midland and beyond. A wide range of topics were covered including history of NET services development in UK, advances in staging techniques, surgical challenges at presentation and in tertiary practise, appropriate timing for PRRT, nutrition, nursing management and need for research to improve treatment potential.
The meeting was well received by all. it helped highlight the improvements in NET services thereby encouraging people to refer for specialist opinion.
